  • Beautiful are the Feet of a UCLA Soccer Player

  • What Drives YOU?!

Living life off the streets of LA, Eddie quickly learned some of life's harsh realities, namely through the acceptance and approval in the ugly world of gangs.  His life spiraled in tragic directions as a 10 year old drug addict and felon.   Read More...

    FCA leaders Madison Cleek, Harmony Reed, and Cian Figeras have caught the vision of FCA at Carp High and are a light for Christ on their campus.        On October 25th nine college students from Westmont and Pepperdine got baptized in the Pacific Ocean. After the baptisms had concluded, God parted the clouds right where his children had publicly displayed their faith in him.     On Tuesday at San Marcos High School's bi-weekly FCA Huddle, our friend, Dave Peterson (area director for Young Life), shared about his embarrassing misconception about the lyrics for the following song: Send Me On My Way.  He explained that while everyone else in the room was, in fact, singing "Send me on my way," he was belting out "Simeon the whale."   • FCA's Total Athlete Challenge: College Camp Recap

      In year one of FCA's Total Athlete Challenge, 52 collegiate athletes gathered at UCLA for a weekend to grow physically and spiritually. Double workouts pushed these athletes to the limit and worship, teaching and small group time stretched every ounce of their spiritual muscle.   • FCA Total Athlete Camp: Changed Lives at UCLA

     FCA staff partnered with over 90 college athletes and 50 coaches to put on our annual Total Athlete Camp at UCLA. 721 high schoolers from across the country came to get better at their sport and grow in their knowledge of Jesus. Out of those 721 students, 115 surrendered their lives to Christ for the very first time.   Read More...

  • FCA Beach Volleyball Camp

      Santa Barbara FCA hosted its first local camp in nearly eight years at West Beach for junior high and high school volleyball athletes athletes. These campers were taught, pushed and loved on by FCA Volleyball interns from across the country. FCA Volleyball is a sports-specific ministry that operates out of Huntington Beach, CA.  Each FCAV intern currently plays collegiate volleyball and has a heart to see young people won to Christ through sport.   Read More...

  • Last Meeting at San Marcos High School

      FCA hosted the last meeting of the year Tuesday, May 28th out on the blacktop of San Marcos High School to celebrate all God has done on campus. Students prayed together, ate pizza and played dodgeball.  San Marcos is an amazing example of the impact God can make through FCA on a campus when people work together.   • UCSB Students Commit Their Lives To Christ!

       UCSB FCA closed out the year this May as FCA College Staff, Kristin Stockfisch, gave an invitation to the students to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Some made the commitment to follow Jesus for the very first time and some made a faith-filled commitment to be 'all in' with the Lord as they rededicated their lives.     Brittany Prentece, our San Marcos FCA club Vice President, shared about the gospel story of Jesus walking on water in  Matthew 14 and the response of Peter, one of Jesus's disciples.  Brittany explained her own doubts and questionings similar to that of Peter - "can I trust Jesus to keep me afloat?"       Westmont FCA concluded their year playing wiffle ball, volleyball and spike ball at Summerland beach on April 19th. As the sun began to set, students shared with each other highlights of the year.       Over 1500 people gathered in Westmont College's gym Friday, April 10th to hear the FCA story and celebrate a few Champions of Christ.
