Brittany was raised in the central valley of California where she spent time running from soccer games to volleyball tournaments to ballet recitals, attending youth group events on the weekends. While attending UCSB Britt developed a love for international development, business systems, and mountain top adventures. A few years later at the Santa Barbara Marathon she fell in love with her now husband, Ryan. Britt and Ryan have been involved in ministering to the youth of Santa Barbara for over 15 years. They have a passion for missions and raising up the next generation of leaders and seeing this community transformed to know and love Jesus through the influence of coaches and athletes. As the area Admin Britt sees that FCA's ministry is organized and primed to meet the needs of coaches and athletes in our community. Britt and Ryan have two darling daughters Mackenzie Anne and Vera Jo that are delights in their life.
Ryan hails from Vienna, Virginia and found Santa Barbara by way of playing soccer and tennis at Westmont College. From a young age Ryan has known two passions - a love for Christ and a love of sports. These passions have been on the forefront of most of his adventures throughout his life, in particular as he met his wife Brittany at a marathon in 2010. Ryan and Britt have been involved in youth sports and youth ministry in and out of Santa Barbara for the past 15 years. They have a passion for working in developing countries, pushing their bodies to the limit and raising up the next generation to know and love Jesus. As Santa Barbara FCA's Area Directors, Ryan and Britt get to lead the amazing staff that works in the communities from Carpinteria to San Ynez, work with the board to grow the ministry and help raise funds to support the vision. Ryan and Britt love the mission of FCA as they have continually seen Jesus transform the lives of those that are impacting so many others in our community. Ryan and Britt have two sweet little girls, Mackenzie (4) and Vera (2) that keep them on their toes…with a lot of dancing.
Evan was born and raised in Saugus, Massachusetts where he grew up playing every sport that was offered. He quickly fell in love with simply running, and joined the Cross Country and Track teams in his middle school and high school. He made his way out to Santa Barbara, CA via running for the Westmont College teams. There, Evan met his amazing wife, Saraí, who was the captain of the Track team during Evan’s sophomore year. They got married the summer before his senior year and have been living in Santa Barbara since. Evan combines his passion for sports with his love for Christ and serving the youth of SB. Both Evan and Saraí have been involved in youth ministry for 5+ years, and he is looking forward to continuing in ministry with FCA in Santa Barbara.
With FCA, Evan will be organizing huddles on high school campuses, meeting with athletes and coaches one-on-one, leading bible studies, and organizing summer and winter camps; all to build strong relationships and share the Gospel with the people of Santa Barbara, engaging, equipping, and empowering them to tell others about Jesus.

Cody was raised in beautiful San Diego, CA with his brother and two awesome parents. Through his childhood he ended up playing every sport that involved a ball. In middle school he realized he had a real passion for basketball, and chose to seriously work on his game. During his senior year his high school team won the State Championship on a buzzer beater. More importantly, in high school he started dating his wife, Tomi. After high school Cody attended Westmont for all 4 years and Tomi joined Cody at Westmont after two years at SBCC. Shortly after college they were married in front of family and friends in San Diego. Cody is currently the assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Providence High School, as well as a Basketball Skills Development Trainer with C3 Basketball Training. With FCA, Cody will be organizing huddles on high school campuses, meeting with athletes and coaches one-on-one, leading bible studies, and organizing/marketing summer and winter camps; all to build strong relationships and share the Gospel with the people of Santa Barbara, engaging, equipping, and empowering them to tell others about Jesus.
