GLORY
Scripture:
“We all, with unveiled faces, are looking as in a mirror at the glory of the Lord and are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory; this is from the Lord who is the Spirit.”
— 2 Corinthians 3:18 (CSB)
This is our camp verse for the week and our theme (as you might have guessed) is GLORY. Here are some questions for you to consider as you're packing your gear, riding on the bus, or before you go to sleep this week:
1. When you think of the word, glory, what comes to mind?
2. We will talk at camp about moving from a position of chasing our own glory to reflecting the glory of God to the world around us. How is it easy in athletics to chase the prestige/recognition/glory that comes from competing in your sport?
3. Have you ever reached an athletic goal and been surprised by how temporarily the glory lasted? Why do you think that is?
4. Where or how have you seen the glory of God around you lately? What in creation/God's Word/or in other people have you been in awe of lately?
5. What is one thing about camp that is making you apprehensive or nervous? What is one thing that is making you excited?
We can't wait to see you!
