Cade Roth

Cade grew up in Silverton, OR in a Christ oriented family where he decided to commit his life to Christ early on. He fell in love with basketball after watching his cousins play in college and decided he wanted to follow in their footsteps. After attending Silverton High School, he went on to play at Westmont College, finishing up in 2023 after 5 years. It was there during his junior year that Cade was plugged into FCA, and the Lord redirected his heart from prioritizing basketball to pursuing Him.

In his final two years at Westmont, he got the opportunity to intern with FCA where he was able to build relationships with high schoolers in Santa Barbara as well as share his testimony at Fields of Faith. Cade felt a calling towards FCA partly because there was no club for Christian athletes at his high school, as well as FCA completely reshaping his journey as a student-athlete at Westmont. He also recognizes the need for athletes to hear and know the good news, as so many students are searching for the wrong things to hold onto.

Cade has since been an area rep for 2 years and a director for the past year. He is married to his lovely wife Annie and the introduced their son Charlie into the world in June of 2026. His desire for the Santa Barbara FCA staff is to see coaches and athletes come to know and build a relationship with Christ!
